[Peter chuckles at that, nodding because he knows someone who could probably hack through all of that, and while Ned is one of the good guys, he's not naive enough to think that it means everyone else out there is, too. And even a misguided hacktivist could stumble across the wrong information.
He's just dropped his backpack to the floor when Tony mentions several upgrades, and he wishes that he still had the familiar weight of it on his shoulder to keep him anchored.] Wha-what? Mr. Stark, you just gave me upgrades, like, two months ago! And c'mon, you know that they're called web-shooters. [He pouts a little because it's not the most impressive name, but it's still his.] What do I need upgrades for? There's already stuff here I don't know how to use!
Okay, that's obviously true of most technology, b-but I didn't think supersuits were like cellphones. It's not like Apple is going to release a better version next year! [He pauses and then drops his voice to a conspiratorial whisper.] Are they?
[Biting back a smile, it drops when Tony questions him. He hadn't meant for it to sound like he didn't know what he was doing with the incredibly generous gift, and suddenly he's worried that it might be taken away if he's too honest.] Just that— I don't know, it's all so— The suit is great, Mr. Stark, it's really incredible! But I don't think you would make something this simple. It's got all the heads-up stuff but I can't figure out if there's function there, or it just looks cool. And when I fell off a building the other day I landed on something that changed the webshooters code and now there are all these combinations and it's freaking me out! Why do I need taser webs?
Oh, Apple would love to get a piece of this, but that's not going to happen. No, Apple might not release another version, but you know who will? Me. Supersuits have more in common with cellphones than you'd think.

See, that's the fun of it. You get these suits, they're yours, and you can push all the buttons and poke around as much as you want. And just between us, you never know when you might need taser webs. Or taser anything.

He’s supposed to poke around as much as he wants, supposedly, and yet he can’t think of a way to do that which is totally legal.] Uh, so... you want me to hack the suit to figure it out? [When he says it aloud, it does sound like something that Tony would silently endorse—using ingenuity in order to solve a problem, even if it’s not entirely aligned with the rules.

[He grins, bouncing on the balls of his feet at the prospect of working somewhere in the same vicinity as Tony.] Also, when the hell are you going to tell me about the cool update specs?
